Please ensure you have read our terms and conditions below, before placing your order.

Turnaround Time

Our standard turnaround time is currently 10 business days from the time that you pay your 50% deposit for COD accounts or submit your order for monthly accounts. The term “standard turnaround” refers to orders which are our standard prints and don’t include additional services on the order. Some of our services will add to the standard turnaround time. If you have a specific deadline that you need to meet, please notify us when placing your order. Taking more than 24 hours for approving your order will add to your turnaround time. Rush Fees may apply to orders needing a quicker turnaround time than our standard turnaround time. Shifty Apparel will not be held responsible for missing deadlines due to natural disasters, supplier shortages and errors, or freight errors. If we expect or foresee any problems in advanced, we will be sure to notify you and attempt to rectify them.

Rush Orders

Orders that are required to be completed sooner than our standard turnaround time (per the order specs and services) are subject to rush order fees. The rush order fee is 20% of the order total pre gst/tax.
Example: $500+gst order needed in 5 business days would incur a $100+gst rush order fee - Standard turn around total $550, rush order total $660.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. The price is subject to seeing final artwork to confirm any quotes.

Artwork

Artwork is to be submitted during the quotation process. Your order price will not be confirmed or the order invoiced until artwork has been submitted. Artwork must be print ready in .ai, .eps, .psd or .pdf formats. Hi-resolution 300dpi+ JPEGS to scale of print may be acceptable. All fonts must be turned to outline.
Artwork not supplied in print ready format, is subject to $50+gst per hour artwork fees. We will always give you an estimate before proceeding with any artwork or order.

Artwork Approval

All artwork must be approved in writing. A mockup will be issued to you for all new orders, you will be allowed one additional set of revisions free of charge. Any additional changes past that point will incur an our standard artwork fees of $50+gst per hour, we will quote the price for the changes as needed. Changes to the artwork after approving the mockup could push back your completion date. We will not be responsible for errors, misspelling, or other issues in approved digital mockups and artwork.

Out of Stock Items

Shifty Apparel will not be responsible for items that are out of stock. All purchasing of stock is done on an order­ by ­order basis. We do our best to check stock levels before your order is placed, but our suppliers do not hold stock, so from quote to the time you actually place the order stock levels may have changed. Should items become out of stock, we will do our best to find a replacement and get it approved by you prior to using it for your order.

Manufacturer Defects & Garment Choice

Shifty Apparel is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as garment colour inconsistencies, mislabeled sizes, loose stitching, or other garment defects. We do our best to inspect the garments as they are printed, and return anything with obvious faults to our suppliers but we cannot guarantee each garment. We highly recommend ordering a few extra garments in case there are any issues.
Alternatively if you are simply unhappy with your choice of garment Shifty Apparel is not held responsible for this. Direct links to supplier specification are always sent with quotes. We also stock samples of most items in limited colours and sizes in our showroom and samples can be ordered in at the customers cost before proceeding with an order (note this will delay the order and is not included in the standard turnaround time).

Customer Supplied Stock

Shifty Apparel is not responsible for any negative outcome of printing on customer supplied stock. If manufacturer specifications are not supplied we may refuse to print on the stock. We choose suppliers to work with based on knowing the products finished result, which we cannot do with customer supplied stock therefore no guarantee is offered. We strongly suggest ordering 1 or 2 pieces extra for us to test on before running the job. All customer supplied stock is subject to a handling fee which is not included in the print price.

Minimums

The minimum order quantity is 20 garments/prints of the one design. This applies for new and repeat orders.

Print Sizes & Placement

All garment sizes in an order will be printed with the same print size unless otherwise requested. The print is positioned using lasers and varies per size using our experience to judge placement unless otherwise requested. A 1cm tolerance applies to specific print placement requests. Different print sizes being printed on different size garments will be treated as a new order and priced accordingly. Any size print printed within 2cm of any seam is subject to distortion, print imperfections, and/or other small inconsistencies. We will not assume responsibility for print imperfections due to printing close/over seams.

Garment After Care

In order to ensure print longevity, we recommend machine wash cold, tumble dry low inside out and iron as per garment fabric care instructions inside out for all prints. Foil and metallic prints should be washed inside out and avoid tumble drying or ironing. All goods should be washed before wearing, especially discharge prints.

Ink Colour & Pantone (PMS) Matching

A Pantone book or standard ink colour chart will be used to select ink colours. Ink colours will be listed on the mockups. We recommend checking the colours given against a Pantone book. Monitors can vary significantly and we will not be held responsible for misprints due to PMS ink match choice. Only PMS colours from the Pantone Coated Formula Guide will be accepted, as we need to be able to get an ink formula from our ink colour matching system. We manually mix the inks needed and cannot guarantee a 100% match once printed, however we pride ourselves on being as close as humanly possible.

Removing Manufacturer Tags/Labels

This is an additional service we offer and is not included in print prices, please ask at quotation for a price.

Payment Terms

Cash on Delivery (COD): ­An invoice will be issued once the order is confirmed. A 50% deposit is due before any stock will be ordered. A digital mockup will be issued after the deposit for approval to print. The remaining 50% is due in full before the finished product is dispatched or collected.

Monthly Account Terms: ­Orders with a monthly account can simply approve the order without payment up front. A final invoice will be emailed to you on completion and dispatch of the order. Monthly accounts will be issued an end of month statement and must be paid with cash or bank transfer within 7 days of the statement date.

Shipping

We ship primarily via Fastway however other couriers may be used. A tracking number will be sent to you shortly after your order has been shipped. Shifty Apparel will not be responsible for freight issues due to the courier. Shipping time is not included in our turnaround times. Shipping expenses are the sole responsibility of the client and will be added to your invoice unless otherwise agreed upon prior to your order. Shipping costs are not normally included on quotes so please ensure to ask for this at time of quotation. Shifty Apparel assumes no responsibility for goods once they have left our facility.

Checking Your Order

Please check your order and notify us of any problems within 72 hours of delivery. We will not be responsible for error orders after 72 hours.

Social Media

Quite often but not always we share the work we are doing in our business social media accounts. We do this by taking photos and posting them online via platforms, such as, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, and Google+. Please let us know when placing your order if you do not want your garments shared. If you do not notify us, we will assume that we have your full permission to post photos of your garments online.

Guarantee

We strive for perfection, but we are also only human. If for any reason we make a mistake printing your order, we will gladly reprint your order within 10 business days. We do not offer refunds.

Cancellation

If the order is cancelled prior to stock being ordered no fee applies, however if the same order is requested again 100% payment will be required to proceed. If the order is cancelled after the 50% deposit and stock has been ordered the stock will be returned to the supplier and the deposit will be refunded minus all shipping and restocking fees from suppliers and an additional $50 administration fee.
